ED

At the invitation of the Nederlands Fotomuseum, Barkode and bureau R-nul digitally manipulated the archive of Ed van der Elsken for the culminating audiovisual performance, ED, of the Lust for Life exhibition (2019). Employing algorithms and filters, they transformed the photographs and films from the archive, while also capturing new video footage within the museum and around Ed van der Elsken's house. The audio component showcased innovative techniques and centred around sonological sound art.
